HOW WE WORK

How We Work

You and your family are completely individual and to create a Bloodline Plan for you we must match your circumstances and what you wish to achieve with your plan.

Experience has shown us that the most successful beginning is an initial consultation where you outline your circumstances and that of your family. There are a few clear reasons for this.

Firstly, everyone has got a few things they want to ask about the process, and it is often best to handle these early so that any confusion can be avoided.

Secondly, as your story is revealed our experienced planners will be able to recognise things they need to make you aware of and customise the information flow to suit your needs.

It is true that formal notes are taken about you and your family’s circumstances so that we can create a Bloodline Plan for you but this is also a prompt for you to ask additional questions as the categories are revealed.

Your consultation and formal notes are then used to create a unique Bloodline Plan for you and your family. It is likely that the planner will present this to you so that you have the chance to ask more questions and become clear about how the plan is going to work for your family.

If your whole family is unable to attend the presentation of the plan, then you can request a written report which often makes it easier for you to explain things to other family members. This can be chargeable but will be deducted from your final bill if you proceed to give us instructions.

Your plan may include our more popular offerings, and your information pack will include a price list of these items. Your planner will use a fee agreement to provide you with the pricing you require.

Your instructions to proceed are what is then required for us to start preparing your documents and creating your Bloodline Plan. When we receive your instructions, we also require your signature on both our Terms of Business and GDPR documents that will have been supplied to you in the customer information pack.

You are very likely to get a Client Summary Draft highlighting the details we have from you already and any additional details we require to create your plan. To verify these details more effectively the Client Summary is kept plain WORD document.

Once the Client Summary is verified as complete your draft Legal documents are presented so that you can verify that they are going to achieve what you requested for your family.

Your approval is required for this documentation and when received you will be invoiced for the agreed amount.

Your payment will allow us to generate the final documents and instructions on how to sign and witness them, together with our thanks for trusting us to look after this important task for your family.

Included within the instruction pack will be details of the storage options for your documents to ensure they are easily accessible when they are needed.

So that you remain aware of your planning we recommend that your documents should be read annually, and every three years checked against your circumstances at the time to ensure they still achieve what you wanted when they were created. Any significant change of circumstance can affect your Bloodline planning so please get in touch if you are in any doubt and we will provide a verification of what, if anything needs to happen.
