Director

Richard is our Sales and Marketing Director and also one of our founding directors and runs the day to day at KEPT. Richard has a career spanning over 30 years’ in financial services, at all levels. In his current role he creates and develops client relationships by attending or arranging seminars and networking events where he presents planning opportunities to individuals, businesses and local professionals.

A gregarious character Richard can often be seen cheering on Newbury Blues or Reading FC or sampling the fine ales of our local independent hostelries. Richard is married to Penny and is proud of their three, thriving, grown up offspring.

GRANT NOTMAN

Estate Planning Consultant

Grant is an Estate Planning Consultant who brings many years of rounded business skills to the role, having been a Director or Managing Director in a number of Multi million pound International Businesses over the last 30 years.

As a long standing Chairman of Aldermaston Rugby Football Club he gets to enjoy all aspects of the Rugby community from the development of young players through to the success of the senior sides.

KATIE LAWS

Consultant Social Worker

I am a Consultant Social Worker specialising in mental capacity, testamentary capacity and work involving the Court of Protection. With 20 years’ experience across the criminal justice system, children’s and adult social care, hospital settings, mental health, learning disabilities, autism, and physical disability I bring extensive expertise in assessment, safeguarding, and rights‑based practice. I have experience of operationally leading teams and strategic service development.

I have a strong track record in drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and acting as a Certificate Provider, ensuring donors have the understanding and freedom required to make valid and informed choices. My practice includes completing testamentary capacity assessments, mental capacity assessments, and litigation capacity assessments, providing thorough, clear assessments upholding the law and taking in practicable steps to support people to make decisions for themselves.

Vikas is an estate planning consultant with experience in Will writing. He has experience in working in financial services in the city and he is passionate about helping people ensure their estate is protected in the best way possible for both them and future generations.

He is passionate about numbers and calculations, he was second in Indian Mathematics Olympiad. Vikas lives in London with his wife and two children. When he’s not working he enjoys spending time with family, playing cricket, going out and travelling.
