Yes it can BUT you would have to ask why your Will would be challenged to understand more about what if anything can be done about it. Most Wills are never challenged because there is nothing controversial in them that creates the need for them to be challenged. If you know you are going to put something in your Will that is unexpected by your potential beneficiaries, then depending on what it is there are sensible things you can do to ensure your wishes are carried out. The simplest to say but perhaps the most difficult to do is to let everyone know what you are planning to do most especially the people that it will affect. In this way you have the chance to gauge the reaction and understand if you wish to continue. If getting things out in the open is not your thing then you can always write a closed letter to explain why you have done what you have done.
