Why bother with a Professional Trustee ?  The most obvious reason is that it is their job to keep abreast of regulatory and tax changes that could affect your trust.  Many Trusts see irregular activity,  sometimes over decades and because of this many things can change.  Now it is perfectly possible to keep yourself up to date on everything but if it is not your main job it is a lot of effort for a decision every ten years.  That said they do more than this they also provide the documentation needed to record every decision that is made, thus forming a historical record to protect the beneficiaries.  The last area which is often a very important concern is the cost.  We only recommend a professional trustee who charge for the work they do, not a levy retainer charge.  Like to know more give me a call.
