Registered Will

Does your Will have to be registered?  No, a Will doesn’t have to be registered to make it valid.  There are however a number of reasons why you may consider registering your Will. So the Executors and beneficiaries know it exists and how to find it. Prevents the suppression of the Will so that others rather than the intended beneficiaries may benefit. Prevents the hunt the Will scenario if your local solicitors is taken over and a central storage policy has been implemented meaning you are relying on a manual search for the document.
