Crypto currency in your Will? Crypto currency can of course be left via your Will to anyone that you like, however, it is not totally straight forward and needs a bit of planning. The act of writing in your Will that you are leaving your Crypto currency to somebody is the simple bit. You need to organize how you are going to transfer the asset to the person you are leaving it to. Crypto currency normally has a private electronic key that enables access which is usually stored in a digital wallet. The first thing you will need to do is make the person that is benefiting from your Crypto currency bequest aware of what device the Digital wallet is on and how they access that. As not all digital wallets work the same way you will also need to show them how they access the private key.
