As Executor why am I going to do Probate? If you are an Executor then…
Too young for a Will
There are two answers to the question.
There is a legal age limit to when you are allowed to make a Will and that is 18 years of age.
If on the other hand you were thinking that you may be too young when you are over 18 years of age, then you are not but there are things to consider.
Normally people make a Will because they have assets that they wish to direct to somebody or protect from something or they need to mitigate possible taxes.
So, if you have no assets to direct, protect or mitigate then you may not need a Will, however, if you have children then naming their guardians does require a Will.
As you gather things in your life then a Will becomes more important and yes you should have one, but you also need to recognise that you are unlikely to have just one Will for your whole life.
