Who can make a Lasting Power of Attorney?

Anyone over 18 years of age with capacity can make a Lasting Power of Attorney by going to Gov.UK and searching for Lasting Power of Attorney. They can be done online and only cost £82 per type (Financial or Health). Now this is fine if you know what you are trying to achieve and have the experience to be able to answer the questions correctly so that come the time you are getting somebody to use it, it does do what you want it to do.  The forms have choices and the choices make a difference as to how it works.  If you are unaware of this you may get a form that doesn’t actually do what you need, which is why we charge more for completing a Government form for you.
