As Executor why am I going to do Probate? If you are an Executor then…
Email Will?
Is an email acceptable as a Will? An email in its electronic state could fail some of the laws around Wills such as it being in writing, signed by the person and witnessed by two independent people. However if the email contained the right information and was dated, then printed out and signed by the person in front of two independent witnesses then of course it could be used. If you study case law you will find exceptions to this, but you will have to dig into the details to establish the exact reasons for the ruling. Want to know more please give me a call.
